MAINGEAR have released a new laptop, the MAINGEAR mX-L, a 13.3-inch machine with an LED-backlit 1280 x 800 display, a choice of Intel Core 2 Duo processors up to 2.53GHz and up to 8GB of DDR2 RAM. The mX-L also has a choice of up to a 500GB hard-drive or 160GB Intel X25-M SSD, as well as DVD and Blu-ray optical drives.
Graphics are courtesy of the 1080p-capable Intel GMA X4500HD, while connectivity includes gigabit ethernet, WiFi a/b/g/n and optional Bluetooth 2.0+EDR. There’s also three USB 2.0 ports, VGA out, audio in/out including S/PDIF and an integrated microphone and webcam.
The whole thing measures 12.125 x 9.125 x 1.3-1.44 inches and weighs 4.45lbs, and comes with a 4-cell 2.4Ah battery. OS is Windows Vista and pricing starts at $1,099.99. MAINGEAR will even custom-etch a graphic of your choosing onto the notebook lid, using their laser.

I don’t get it. Isn’t this just a Sager NP7350? http://www.sagernotebook.com/p.....pid=127484 . It’s $130 cheaper from Sager too.

You are somewhat right. Both Maingear and Sager resell the same notebook. However neither one of them make it. It is in fact manufactured by Clevo (a NB OEM) and the model is called Clevo M735T.
