After the Magellan RoadMate 1470 PND yesterday, the GPS company have another two sat-nav devices looking for our favor.  The Magellan RoadMate 1440 slots neatly under the 1470, with a 4.3-inch touchscreen (down 0.4-inches), while the Magellan RoadMate 1340 (shown here) takes the bottom rung with a 3.5-inch 4:3 aspect touchscreen.

Each has text-to-speech, mapping of USA, Canada and Puerto Rico, and an anti-glare screen.  The 1440 also gets the AAA TourBook, which includes hotel and restaurant listings and ratings and roadside assistance; there’s also highway lane assist and an optional traffic updates system.

Both PNDs are available to pre-order now.  The Magellan RoadMate 1440 is priced at $199.99 from Amazon, while the Magellan RoadMate 1340 is $179.99 from Amazon.
