Magellan Maestro 4700 PND clears FCC

Magellan's Maestro 4700 PND has cleared the FCC, the first new product in the GPS company's Maestro series for several months.  Based around a 4.7-inch touchscreen, the 4700 PND supports voice commands and Bluetooth; you can find full capabilities in the user manual [PDF link]

There's also Magellan's OneTouch interface, which couple's often-accessed addresses from the favorites list with some defaults, including an emergency location, together with common POI searches or records.  Connections include a USB for recharging as well as hooking the 4700 up to a computer, and a microSD card slot.

The Maestro 4700 also supports traffic updates, although it requires the Traffic Link adapter which is sold separately.  Obviously there's no word on when we can expect to see the PND on shelves, but we wouldn't expect to have to wait too long.
