To “open your eyes ” : You see , son , there is another problem . Many , like you , have no idea of the changes that have taken place in this country over the last 30 years . First , there has been a massive redistribution of our nation’s wealth from the citizenry to a small number of privileged members of certain families and enormous corporations . That has been accompanied by an erosion of our freedoms in service of an expanding surveillance and control system . You mock the fool above who spouts communist prattle . He is an easy target .But you do not understand the threat posed to America by those who care only for the opportunity to exploit their fellow citizens without restraints . You apparently worship electronic technology , since you believe that having a television means one can not be poor . And no wonder you think this way ! The powers that be figured out that the disturbing political energy of the young could be neutralized by eliminating the draft and swamping the kiddies with mind-numbing amounts of gadgets and meaningless and impersonal “social ” networking systems that leave you gazing at your navel and yammering about how fortunate we are . No need to pay attention to the coup accomplished by the bought and paid for Supreme Court in favor of the over- monied who now can control the uninformed through massive expenditures of money on propaganda .
You state that our country no longer has ” peasants ” because most people have a television .I remember G.Bush saying the same . Do you really think that the people running our government have , as you say , “scarified for us ” and deserve our gratitude ? There might have been that years ago , but now we have a government of exploiters and controllers . It is getting more difficult to distinguish them from the ruling elite in China . . Finally , assuming you are 18 as you say , I find it sad that you are so old and limited in perspective . But that’s what a media controlled by 5 massive corporations , as is the case in America , can do to young people who lack curiosity .
And by the way , to “Shiyao Ma ” who thinks his country practices socialism . He also belongs to the communist party . I suggest that China now is governed by the communist party for the benefit of party members only . Sort of like our republican Party . The Chinese communist party , like the army of the People’s Republic , uses its power to accrue wealth for its members . Just note that it is the Chinese army that owns , controls , and enriches its elite through the tobacco industry .The Chinese army gives the citizens of the People’s Republic the gift of cancer .The People’s Republic practices state corporatism , not socialism . It is a dirty world .

I am a person from China. As you know, China is the one of the several countries which carries out socialism as the base policy. Though the country policy of mine and yours is different, I am glad to see your goodness and outlook of the world. As a member of the communist party, I together with my party fellows are supposed to (also forced by the superstratum ) develop a better China and a better world. However, I always think it is not because of the fact I am a communist member that I should devote my time and energy to help people around me, to sacrifice my life for my country. It is just a sense of being a human being, a sense of being a citizen of my country that drives me to contribute myself to my country. Policy doesn’t matter a lot, either socialism nor does capitalism. What matters is the human being’s love and responsibility for the country and the world.

This is what is wrong with our country, people like you. I’m 18 years old, I worry about how I will pay for college next year, I worry about how I will find a job when I get out of college and how I will pay my debts. I worry because I know I have to do it, it is the best way to forge a better future for myself, my family, and ultimately my country. Then there are people like you. Those with a mind set that they deserve this or that without the work, everyone should have everything, which in itself can seem desirable but will ultimately lead to the downfall of any nation or government that chooses to implement such a corrupt system. The problem with Marxism is it does not account for human error, we in ourselves are not perfect, which is what makes us beautiful, we all have faults and failures that make us different and who we are. Here you are though complaining about your pains over a computer, if you were really so dedicated to the cause, if you cared for the “peasant”, you wouldn’t be in this nation because we no longer have peasants, the average person who falls under the category of poor these days still has an average of at least one tv, and air conditioning in there home. Though true poverty is still very real in our nation it is much realer in our world. We as a nation are so blessed to have all we do while the populous of other nations suffer, starving to death, murdered by their own government, forced into physical or sexual slavery. You however sit on your computer, free of fear from these things thoughtlessly trying to scare others and rant because things arn’t :”good enough for you”. Open your eyes because of our government and those who sacrifice for us you live, and prosper, we all do. Yes we have problems in our country, there is corruption, there is pain, there is suffering, but these things have always existed and we have always endured, our pains can not even begin to compare to those of our brothers and sisters across the world those who truly need our help and here you are selfishly fighting for yourself.

Prices are going to drop by 30% off retail at apple this summer when the new mac books come out. I have been hearing that they are just becoming thinner and no disc drive. If you havent bought a mac book pro yet, wait until the new one is released to make your decision if to buy it the newer one or the current model
