MacBook fanciers, hold your horses - if you’ve been tempted to splash down the cash for a lovely new Apple laptop then perhaps you ought to wait for 13th November.  After all, that’s when UK site play.com is advertising the release of the MacBook Core 2 Duo.

There’s no confirmation or denial from anyone right now, but it’s not that far off so I guess we’ll find out sooner rather than later.  Prices are listed as starting at £900 for the white 13.3-inch screen model, with a 2GHz processor and half-gig of RAM.

    i think it’s about time they move all to c2d as the chip price itself doesnt par far from each other (betweeen c2d and cd)
