You would think the iPad would cut into Mac sales, however, the fact is that after the iPad has been out for several years in 3 variations, they sold more Macs last quarter than any time in history. Guess it’s not actually hurting too bad.

Well, given that in just over two years the iPad revenue has soared past their Mac revenue I don’t think they’re losing any sleep over it.

I don’t care about Macs per se, but maybe this will finally put an end to the crappy 1366×768 displays that have gotten so common in Windows computers. Manufacturers will get embarrassed and put in something decent.

I would think Mountain Lion would be released around the same time? I think people will again be disappointed in what Apple refreshes. I still beleive Apple needs to work harder at a $800 notebook.
Because if many people find a $500 iPad works well enough. How can you not lose sales of over $1000 Mac’s? Apple has really hurt its own sales of Mac’s with the iPad. Not only that but a refurb iPad can be had for $300 and a iPad 2 for $399 or less.
