Mac mini gets the Colorware treatment

Colorware has been splashing its paint about again, and come up with this: a custom version of Apple's Mac mini.  All the usual hues are available, with solid, metallic and pearl palettes together with regular or soft-touch finishes, and you can choose different colors for the aluminum chassis and the Apple logo.

Pricing varies: if you send in your own Mac mini then the custom paint-job will set you back $250, while Colorware will happily sell you a brand new machine from $1,000 ready-painted.  Delivery is in around three weeks, giving you enough time to find matching cables.  We're particularly fond of the metallic "prowler" purple, just in case anyone out there is wondering what to buy us for Christmas.
