When I’m conducting a black-ops mission, replete with false beard and dark glasses, the last thing I want is to be tracked either by my cellphone or some sort of GPS-enabled bug.  So it’s a relief to see the Detectnu GPS/GSM Jammer arrive surreptitiously on the market; a compact box that, powered by your car’s cigarette lighter socket, will block any GSM signals within 20 metres and GPS sat-nav within 50 metres.

No price or availability details as yet, but it’s nice to know that when I’m performing a secretive run to the nearest cake store my dietitian won’t find out.
