Logitech, makers of all things awesome, has unveiled their new V45 Laser Cordless Mouse, designed for use with notebook computers. The mouse will retail for around $50 USD and houses a tiny USB transmitter broadcasting at 2.4 GHz. Rather than traditional optical technology, the V450 uses a special laser to track the mouse’s movement, giving the user extra precision while also allowing the mouse to operate on a wider array of surfaces. Look for the V450 to hit in July; I’ll be sure to grab one for use with my Macbook Pro!
