Logitech have finally released their Squeezebox Radio Accessory Pack, which will finally allow users of the Squeezebox Radio to cut the power cord.  The $49.99 kit includes an IR remote control and an internal rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack; Logitech reckon it’s good enough for up to six hours of wireless playback from the WiFi radio.

The remote control doesn’t have the flexibility of the LCD-equipped model that comes with Logitech’s Squeezebox Duet system, but it should be enough for casual use.  There are basic navigation controls, along with volume and power.  The Logitech Squeezebox Radio Accessory Pack is available in the US and Europe now, priced at $49.99 or €49.99 respectively.
