I got it on 12/13 -what a big difference. It did take some time to figure out the new format. For instance I really have to dig to find my favorite bookmarks under the apps section. Wish there was a way to put it on the main page. Love all the new apps and content. There is a lot more content now and it really makes the Logitech Revue way better than Apple, Roku, etc. especially since only the Revue has a actual web browser.

We got this update yesterday, and I was very excited about the addition of the marketplace. There are very few apps on it, so I hope more are coming. It's sad that the device wasn't the success Logitech hoped for because we have had a blast with it. It's perfect for fantasy football scores, for avoiding those pesky commercials, the 13 year old girl loves to go to youtube and flail away at the current pop tunes, it's an excellent netflix viewer, and if you're into the amazon thing a very capable system. I love the full size keyboard, it's the best part of the whole thing.

as far as the new update goes - some things better, like the browser speed. It seems to load pages much more quickly than the previous software version. Some things worse - I was on some page last night which didn't allow the PIP function, boo. moving the pip window used to be simple and quick - now it's a menu driven thing, not simple or quick. boo.

I think if there was some way to use current apps and not have to have them "optimized for logitech revue" - like when you run an iphone app on an ipad - it would really help.

so Logitech lost their pants on this one - could have been different with better marketing. A simple commercial at the beginning of football season showing someone checking their fantasy football scores while watching the game would have sold a ton.

someone said you can't save bookmarks anymore - not true, but you have to add them to your home page which puts them in the "all apps" bin.

I'm having fun trolling through the various "channels" - I think this is the wave of the future, and will only get better.

My update finally arrived at 11:25am Eastern time. I'm happy about that. But I would have preferred downloading the update on-demand from a web server to my home computer, transferring it to a USB drive and plugging that USB drive into the USB port on my Revue (as opposing to waiting three days to get the update over-the-air). I mean, that's how most non-WiFi HDTVs have to have their firmware updated, using a USB drive.

I noticed last night (12/6/2011) my Revue box appears to have a partial update. It shows 2.1 -update 1. Netflix and Amazon video shows as menu options on the left-hand side. So...something was pushed. Wondering if this is a pre-step to obtaining the full release. I hope so. Personally I think the box is pretty awesome. The Android Marketplace will make it wonderfully awesome.
