Logitech Mobile Speakerphone P710e supports NFC pairing

Logitech has unveiled a new product called the Logitech Mobile Speakerphone P710e. Logitech promises that the compact speakerphone offers enterprise-quality audio for conversations for business or home users. The mobile speakerphone is designed to allow users to set up an instant conference room for group conversations just about anywhere they happen to be.

The P710e features an internal rechargeable battery good for up to 15 hours of use. The design of the speakerphone has a sliding top section it opens to reveal an integrated stand designed to hold mobile phones or tablets at an angle comfortable for hands-free video calling. The stand can also hold a tablet or a smartphone making it easier to type to take meeting notes using Bluetooth keyboards.

Logitech's new speakerphone is the first device of its kind to support NFC technology. When used with a compatible smartphone, all user needs to do to pair their device to the P710e is tap their smart device on the speakerphone. The P710e also has USB plug-and-play capability for easy connectivity with computers.

The speakerphone can be used for videoconferencing using Skype, Cisco, or Microsoft Lync. It also supports Facetime for Apple devices covering just about all video conferencing formats out there. The P710e will sell for $169.99.
