Logitech have announced their thinnest ever wired keyboard, the blandly-named Illuminated Keyboard at just 9.3mm deep.  As the title suggests, the keys are all backlit; they also use Logitech’s PerfectStroke technology, so even though there’s minimal depth there should still be reasonable typing feel.

In width the Illuminated Keyboard is pretty standard, so there’s full-sized keys, a numeric keypad, F-key row and even space for dedicated media and volume control buttons.  The palm-rest has a soft-touch finish, and the backlight is adjustable for day and night-time use.

The Logitech Illuminated Keyboard is expected to be available in the U.S. and Europe in October.  It will carry a suggested retail price of $79.99.
