Lips wireless mic now usable with Rock Band 2

If you like to play the video game, Lips, but enjoy some of the other music-oriented games as well, you’ll be pleased to learn Microsoft is now making the Lips wireless microphones compatible with other games. Fans rejoice!

The Lips mic can soon be used with Rock Band 2 and on Guitar Hero: Metallica right now. This is good news for those that like a variety of these musical games but don’t want to shell out the bucks on peripherals for all of them.

Rock Band 2 will get compatible with the mic starting sometime this summer. But that’s not all Microsoft has up its sleeves. Apparently, the Lips mic will be compatible with other games this year as well. But we’ll just have to wait and see what those are.
