Sullenberger, who safely flew an Airbus plane into the Hudson River, saving everybody aboard, he later spoke in front of the House Transportation Committee, and stressed that “the single most important piece of safety equipment is an experienced well trained pilot.” 

He doesn’t say GPS!!!

He continues to say that “Experience & Skills” of pilots only comes from investing and if airlines do not change and start valuing the profession, it will result in “future pilots are less experienced and less skilled, it logically follows that we will see negative consequences to the flying public and to our country”

Many pilots need to take several jobs to make ends meet.
