I’ve had a LightScribe burner for something like 2 years now. It seemed like a really cool idea at the time. However, I have yet to actually take advantage of that feature on a single disc. It’s probably because I still have a stack of blank CDs that need to be used. For those of you that do use it, I’ve got some good news for you.

Lightscribe update

LightScribe Direct Disc Labeling has announced today that they’ve made an update to their software that will yield higher quality labels. The difference is most notable when you burn a photo onto one of the discs.

The best part of all is that is a free update. This will work with any existing LightScribe burner. Perhaps now I should consider getting some of the discs and trying it out.

I always thought lightscribe was cool and never really understood how it worked. I have a disk labeler but it is not automatic you have to manually print the cover and put it on it and all.
