Yeah, it kind of looks like glow in the dark but it’s more grown up and sophisticated than that. This doesn’t need sunlight or electricity and glows for 12 years at about the same level as a 20 watt bulb.

Lightroenergy is actually tiny self-luminous particles called litroshperes. The litrospheres are embedded into paints so you can cover almost any surface with it in almost any color.
MPK, the manufacturer, expects Lightroenergy to be used first with safety gear, which makes perfect sense. It only costs about 35 cents to cover an 8 ½” x 11” area. I wonder how my house would look glowing purple…

Tritium is pretty harmless, even when you eat it. And getting hit by a car because your bike doesn’t glow is probably a much more likely way to perish.

just because it emmits light doesn’t mean it’s harmful. But then again: 25 years ago they said asbest was harmless as well.

Asbest _is_ harmless. It’s only when you add the “o”’s that it’s a problem. Just like spaghetti. MMMM spaghetti. Add that “o” to it though and you have Spaghettio’s. Blech.
