Light Frequency Fingertips Put Music at Your Fingertips

As far as concepts go, this one's pretty impressive. It's called the Light Frequency Fingertips, and it gives those who put on the little pieces of tech on their fingers the ability to create music using nothing but pure photons. Designed by Austria-based Robert Mathy, the fingertip caps might just be enough to bring a whole new wave to the music industry.

The caps are filled with light-sensitive phototransistors that make it possible for the wearer to manifest musical compositions, just with the light itself. Mathy was able to do this with the help of a few mobile phones, and 3-volt batteries. The result is, with each movement of the finger, a new piece of music is created. Get enough movements going, and in enough of a rhythm, you could have the next symphony on your hands — or at the tips of them.
