LG X20 Pine Trail netbook clears FCC with 3G

You'll have to forgive our disappointment, but when we first caught sight of the LG X20 in its FCC photos we hoped it was a smartbook.  The form-factor certainly looks a lot like previous smartbook prototypes we've seen, but sadly this is another regular netbook, albeit an Intel Atom N450 Pine Trail model.

Running Windows 7, the X20 has a 10.1-inch 1366 x 768 LCD display, Intel 3150 GMA graphics and up to 2GB of RAM.  There's also a 1.3-megapixel webcam, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth and 3G HSDPA/HSUPA, and the FCC's test model packed a 250GB hard-drive.  The battery is a 4-cell unit, and the whole thing weighs 1.2kg.

According to the user manual, the X20 will potentially see a release in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, China, India, Korea and Singapore, where it will be variously known as the X20, X200, XB200, XD200 and XV200.  No word on release dates.
