LG Windows Phone 7 handsets to ship by September?

Back at MWC 2010 one of the most important unveilings was of Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 platform. In fact, we spent lots of time talking about the platform and taking about its features back during the show. The thing most of us really want to know is when devices will hit the market.

A new rumor is pointing to LG Windows Phone 7 handsets hitting the market by September. I am taking this rumor with an iceberg size grain of salt though. Engadget reports that in talks with LG the September date was bandied about.

LG also reportedly offered up a date further out as well of between September and November. All we know from Microsoft at this point is that devices are promised before the Holidays. I take that to mean early November, Halloween hardly counts as a holiday in most books.
