Well I don’t know what crappy cable you have the misfortune of being stuck with but resolution is only part of what makes up picture quality.

The range of colors, response time, contrast ratio and true blacks will make any image look superior to what a LCD or Plasma is capable of. Play a BluRay on an OLED screen and it’s like nothing you’ve even seen.

What makes it so great is the quality of the image which in every way exceeds current LCD TV technology by a large margin and plasma by nearly as much.

You can’t really appreciate the color range, true blacks, contrast ratio and resolution until you see one in person because whatever device you’re looking at the picture of it on is incapable of showing them.

The same people who paid much more for the first plasma and LCD screens, early adopters who want the latest technology that makes current TV technology pale in comparison.

When you see your first OLED TV you’ll wonder how you suffered through the LCD and plasma age.

In real dollars this is actually quite a bit less than the prices of large plasma and LC screens when they were first introduced. This is great news all around as it won’t be long before the prices come down for these and start putting pressure on on the older technology as well.

When you see your first OLED TV image you will settle for nothing less but if if you are willing to settle you’ll be thanking LG (and Smasung) OLED for halving the current price of large screen TVs before long.

I don’t get what makes this so great. Samsung already has a 75 inch smart t.v. with gesture controls for the same price. I’m sure they have a 55 inch with the same features for way less.

Hey, when yours got the Lines, did it start with maybe one, on the left side of screen and went from top to bottom in Red???? There is a issue with one of the Boards from a certain manufacture that some Tv manufactures use. The fix is really simple to do (it’s a solder joint that breaks or cracks from the heat and expansion and contraction) but not simple to get to or cheap to have done. replacement boards are around $100 or less.

It’d be great to watch on bluray, but that’s about it. I have a 1080 px, 40”, but all the HD channels are 780. It’s always the next new and better thing, here comes Ultra HD.

BS…I saw it..a GOOD PLASMA is a BETTER BUY! HOW STUPID….tv,s are for HOME, and places ya stay in while on the road! REMEMBER THIS, NO MATTER HOW GOOD IT IS..YOU STILL have the SAME OLD NASTY DISH and CABLE Shows over and over..rerun after rerun and $10, ooo will buy be KOTS of GOOD stuff and a 60″ THIN PLASMA with just as good a PIC. IN V,s..ya GO BI ..ONLY…ONLY for rentak Movies, DVD and ANYTHING but DISH and Cable!!!What a WASTE!!!

Here is a little fact for you…in production, if a company can achieve a 98% quality production rate…this is very good. But even at 98%, that means 1 in 50 will fail within the first year. You probably received that 1in 50. But, LG is still a great quality brand.

I just bought my second LG TV (47inch – 47LS4500) since I am very happy with my LG 32 inch TV purchased more than 2 years ago.

The first time I saw an LCD TV, more that 10 years ago, it cost $14000, way outside of my budget. A similar TV now costs less than $400

Don’t by a LG TV! We bought a gorgeous TV from them. We loved it. But less than a year later it had lines all up and down it. They told us they would not fix it and if we wanted to fix it ourselves, the cost would be more than buying a new TV. And they were very very rude. I will never buy a LG product again.

Huge Cool Tech, OLED Flexi screen is next, role it up and take it with ya. If I had 10 grand I would fly to korea and sleep outside the store to get one and bring it back to the states!!
