My wife and I replaced our Apple 3GS with the LG Thrill. It’s like going from a VW to a Porshe. Reason we switched was Apple’s reluctance to release a 4G phone. They just keep updating the same old phones. Anyway we have had no problems to speak of. I do have to charge mine more than my 3GS but I think that is because I use the apps more on this phone due to the increase in speed. That has not been a problem though as I never have run out of juice. I would suggest you check all reviews before making a decision based on one or two negative comments. 3D effects are a fun app. You can even upload your 2D pics and it will convert them to 3D if you wish. Pics we took in Hawaii ae amazing.

I have had it for a DAY and it turns off randomly all the time and now it wont even turn on this is by far the worst phone I have EVER had. DO NOT GET IT, YOU WILL REGRET IT.

how much data do you use? Also ATT cuts the speed after 2GB of data since you don’t pay for it. They didn’t start charging more for data because they are greedy, it was actually a forced government fee to tax everyone for every MB of bandwidth used. No phone is worth $500. This phone cost is about $20, yes ATT has that much leeway with the price but can’t go down lower than $50 for some reason even for employees.So ask yourself why would you consider off contract price for any phone? Are you actually buying that it cost that much. A PS Vita is $250 has a 5 inch OLED touch screen, a mouse like touch screen on the back and a cpu and graphics processor powerful enough to bring PS2 graphics with PS3 engines… and Sony says they are still bringing it loads of profit. Don’t buy a device off contract ever, because its a rip off.

What more can u ask for in a phone. Its got a 1ghz dual processor, 4.3 inch 3D screen and build very nice. This phone can hold its own against the GS2′s and Droid Bionics. Not quite as good but close. A few things that keeps it from a 5 star is 512mb of ram(although LG says the dual channel memory is fast)), the 5mp camera isn’t something to cheer about and coming with android 2.2.

The phone is fast, no lag, GPS is flawless and veey fun to play with. If u do decide to buy this device remember tango videochat does not work with this phone just yet. Qik works flawless when using the Thrill. I used it with other android phones as well as videochating with the Wifey on her iPhone 4. As I mentions before. I’ve took a few pictures outside and they look real nice.

Good camera but my captivate’s 5mp camera was better. Overall the phone will keep me good until the Galaxy S 3 comes around.

Just talked to ATT store rep, Will be in my store on Sunday, Howerver the price has changed. This weekend they are giving you an extra $50 off on a new 2 year activation, on the standard store price of $199. What happened to $99 that was released just last month. Bastards!!

Have Moto Atrix for 3 months, now with Gingerbread. Great phone, the longer u have, the more u like.
Have been following info on Thrill (because of 3D for Grandson-Gaming nut). However the more I study the more impressive phone seems to b. Not just a 3D fad. I believe the DUAL CHANNEL CPU & Ram will help considerably on speed & smoothness, eliminating virtually all bottlenecks, thus having a smoother & greater overall thruput. Like a four lane interstate versus a two lane highway. Even if a little slower, u deliver twice as much, thus more thruput ! ! Also the classie design is outstanding. the Blue diamond pattern (back& sides), stainless steel strip on back with dual 5 mega pixel cameras ( Steroscopic engraved), the chrome strip all the way around edge of perimitter (like iphone) & especially the Brushed Aluminum look on top & bottom of screen area. Very Classie phone & well designed features, not on other phones. The final punch of $99 @ AT&T or $80 @ the Shack, with additional $10 coupon. Net $70 + tax. What a deal, unbeatable ! !
