Almost here. Just 4-5 more months. I doubt people will be lined up to purchase this TV because of the projected price but i know i will be one of the first owners. I might even buy two.

I really admire this LG OLED TV tech. just looking at the features you can bear with me that it has an incredible color and contrast. Apart from the fact that it is thin and portable, its beauty reflects that which you can use to decorate your living room with. In which case, the LG OLED TV new tech is not just only for entertainment, but I see it more as bringing happiness, and comfort to the entire family at home. Judging from the write ups, it seems LG Electronics will start to produce its OLED TV by early July 2012. This shows that they are ready to give customers the best entertainment.

I think you're worrying too much. LG wouldn't mass produce oled tv unless it is durable enough not to get broken that easily. And I've never heard about mini cables of oled tv. Technically speaking, a tv can't support full hd 3d resolution with weaker mini cables which means oled tv has to be hooked with full sized cables.

The OLED TV's are great but too thin to be used around young children unless they are mounted on a wall. I am not for a super thin products for instance I would prefer a Tablet or laptop wit a full size HDMI,
USB port and full size SD slot over their mini versions so I could hook right up to my gear using my existing stronger cables rather than weaker mini cables most Pros gear uses full sized connectors.
