LG GC900 Viewty 2 specs revealed

According to newmobile, you're looking at the specifications for the successor to the LG Viewty, the LG GC900 Viewty 2.  You'd be looking at a photo of the handset itself if LG weren't so uptight about images leaking out; all we know is that the Viewty 2 most closely resembles the LG Secret, only minus the slide-out number pad.

That leaves all navigation to the 3-inch WVGA touchscreen, which uses LG's new 3D S-Class GUI as seen on the LG Arena KM900.  Other specs include an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, Xenon flash, image stabilizer, face-tracking and ISO 1600.  There's also A-GPS, for navigation and image geo-tagging, and support for push email, DivX and Xvid video playback, and auto screen-rotation.

The LG GC900 Viewty 2 has HSDPA 7.2Mbps and WiFi (presumably b/g), and onboard storage can be expanded to up to 32GB via microSD card.  According to the newmobile team, the prototype was in a pretty early stage of development – even using a lower resolution, WQVGA panel – so we may have to wait a while for the official announcement.
