Honestly, I can't tell the difference between screens, other than the size and I could really care less.

I got the Galaxy Nexus for the same reason, and haven't looked back, though I do miss the 3D of my Optimus.

This is just LG's way of trying to get Apple's attention so that they can get more iPhone and iPad screen contracts.

"Here at LG, we strive to improve the clarity through which our customers are able see just how badly our software sucks. We want our customers to experience glitches and lag, through high resolution and sharp imagery, with less power consumption, so that they can think long and hard about how quickly they can ditch our hardware for a slightly less powerful phone that actually works."

Great screen tech isn't going to make the rest of the world think that your lack of android updates, lack of overall support of your phones, and the very crappy build quality of your products will make "Life Good", because it won't.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of AMOLED. I do have a Galaxy Nexus, but I'll be honest, I didn't get it for the screen. I wanted it for the updates and the openness of the phone. Unfortunately, my experience with LG hasn't been good. Their phones have always had a very flimsy feel to them, and were always lacking in almost every feature compared to other phones out there. As I said above, you can brag about your screen, but it won't change the rest of the phone, and certainly won't make it a more desirable phone than the GSIII right now.
