LG BL20 Chocolate gets official, specs outed

LG's BL20 has gone from being a poorly kept secret to an acknowledged member of the Chocolate family, with the fashion phone appearing on LG's developer site.  A slender 12.3mm thick handset with a 2.4-inch QVGA 262k color display, slide-out numeric keypad and touch-sensitive controls, the BL20 has triband GSM and dualband 900/2100 HSDPA.

There's also Bluetooth 2.1 and USB 2.0, together with a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, a flash and video recording support.  As well as the usual SMS and MMS messaging there's a POP/IMAP email client and HTML browser.

The whole thing measures 106.9 x 50.8 x 12.3 mm and tips the scales at 115g.  There's a lackluster 256MB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for adding up to 16GB more; still you probably wouldn't expect much different from a fashion-centric device.  The LG BL20 is expected to arrive by the end of the year; no word on pricing, but given that it'll likely be a European handset we'd expect it to be free on a new contract.
