Lenovo ThinkPad X200t reviewed, compared, generally liked

Lenovo's X200t has only been official since Thursday last week, but the reviews are already beginning to wade in.  Laptop Mag have put the $2,300 convertible notebook through its paces, and like just about every ThinkPad review in existence, the keyboard and general durability are both praised.  Meanwhile, over at GottaBeMobile, they've lined up the X200t against a key rival: HP's 2730p Tablet PC, announced back in August.

If your first response is to dismiss the 2730p as a consumer tablet and the X200t as a business one, think again.  Both offer SSD and 3G options, and both have tough casings (the HP is even certified to military standard MIL-STD 810F for dust and vibration resistance).

They'll be continuing the comparisons and answering questions, so if there's a burning confusion aching in your bosom, head over and get it sated.  As for the X200t, the only real points of criticism from Laptop Mag were the absence of an optical drive (which some might see as a plus, in terms of weight) and battery life that, while around six hours with the 8-cell pack, fell short of Lenovo's ten hour estimates.
