Hmmm. That photo appears to show a fingerprint reader on the back side of the tablet, a feature more suited to the business class thinkpad tablet than the consumer class ideapad tablet. Anyone else think that is a fingerprint reader? I'm hoping Lenovo is building a Tegra 3 thinkpad tablet too so we can have a powerhouse tablet with a digitizer... I myself am currently leaning towards the Transformer Prime for now, but if I can get the same performance and a digitizer, I may consider the Lenovo (or others).

I have to question some of the numbers that the iPad is putting up. I really wish that the methodology by which some of the numbers these applications are generated were more transparent.

Right now, the numbers from some of these benchmarks do not track with the theoretical capability of the respective platforms.

There are a hundred different reasons why that could be, but that's just it - we in the community cannot effectively analyze - or even speculate intelligently - because the process is so opaque that there is no data to go off of other than our guess at the behavior-based outcomes the numbers imply.

This is an interesting development, but is the comparison o the Tegra 3 to the A5 adjusted for resolution difference, since the Lepad K2 runs at 1920 x 1152 and the iPad 2 runs at 1024 x 768. I'm not familiar much with how OpenGL tests, but if it's a simple frame rate, then a true comparison should be more sophisticated then this one.

What I like most about this is that we start to see a move towards hi-res displays. Even though I'm going to buy the Prime as soon as possible, it will only be a stop gap until a ~300 dpi device becomes available.
