Lego iPhone dock spins and is geeky cool

I spent lots of time playing with Lego in my youth. In fact, I got into more than one fistfight at school over the last set of wheels for my Fall Guy truck creation. Today, geeks are doing all sorts of projects with Lego that have more to do with gadgets than the type of building Lego intended its ubiquitous blocks to be used for.

The latest Lego creation is a dock for the iPhone that rotates to allow you to change the iPhone from portrait to landscape mode as you desire. The Lego dock was created by Steven Combs and is made from gray and black blocks.

With enough Lego's and a bit of spatial reasoning skills, you could duplicate the Lego dock creation. Just think how well it will go with those Lego speakers we talked about last year.
