If you haven’t already heard, the series of movie-based Lego games is set to tackle a new set of films in the near future. Apparently they have a thing for George Lucas, because we all know the next game is Lego Indiana Jones. What’s interesting is the game will not include Nazis.

LEGO Indiana Jones

I’m a bit baffled to hear this, as we all know Indiana Jones has more than a couple run-ins with the German foes. Don’t worry, they haven’t changed the storyline much, they’ve simply “replaced them with an anonymous genocidal, occultist, trenchcoat-wearing master-race.”

I’m not really sure why they decided to get rid of the Nazis (or at least stop calling them Nazis). Perhaps they thought that depicting a (real) group of people that slaughtered millions based solely on their religion would be too much for a game targeted at kids. Then again, how many kids young enough to not know about Nazis are Indiana Jones fans?

I don’t know why they didn’t show Nazis in the Lego Indiana Jones game, I guess they don’t want to upset people about showing Nazis in a kiks game. If it was me, I would show the Nazis because It is apart of history because something like the Nazis you shouldn’t forget about, and millions of kids have seen the Indiana Jones movies and saw the Nazis so if you take out the Nazis you are taking some of the story out of it.
