Although new to the GPS field, LG has launched a slew of portable GPS-capable multimedia players and is now showing off a new top-notch in-dash all-in-one GPS navigation system, the LAN-9600R. It supports all sorts of multimedia goodies including CDs, DVDs, MP3, WMA, DivX, and so forth. It’s 7-inch LCD touchscreen displays in widescreen 16:9 format and is awesomly motorized to retract into your dash with the push of a button.

The LAN-9600R is slated for release in the European market first and will be sold as a bundle with various items including a hands-free Bluetooth kit and several European maps for a price of $2000.

Other features include USB port for data transfer, 2GB internal storage, Digital FM/AM, SD memory slot, Centrality Atlas2 300 MHz processor, and SiRF Star III GPS chipset.
