If it takes two LBD (4 SSDs) to attain 800+MB/s, it appears they used 3Gb/s SSDs. In our lab, we attained twice that speed with four 6Gb/s SSDs in a RAID 0 set using the RocketRAID 2744 SAS RAID card in a Mac Pro.

Hope y’all realise that they’re using SSD’s in the drives, so chances are you wont get near that speed with hard drives :)

“MBP was able to write at up to 352.5 MB/s, while write speeds reached 827.2 MB/s.” WTF? On the video same mistake but with read speeds: “it read 300 MB/s while read speed is 820 MB/s”…
