Looks to me like that’s meant to mask the low refresh rate. Still, that’s much better than e-ink refresh, and it has colour.

Glad I didn’t splurge on a Kobo Vox after seeing all the companies going away from E-Ink. Would be kick ass if it uses IR touch instead of capacitive, so it still works with gloves on.

$310 is a bit on the high side, not that it’s not worth it, but if I’m gonna be paying that much, I’d rather pay just a bit more for a Dual Core CPU, given that’s what Android needs to run smoothly.
