Absolutely brilliant . Beautiful interface. Never played a synth before . The Kaoss pads alone are worth the price of the app times 10.

What are you talking about? You have not used it, you have no idea of the depth of the features and yet you say it is "limited"? What, like a guitar with only 6 strings? If you work for the nanosynth people, at least be honest and say so. I spent half an hour with the iMS20 and it blew me away. I used to play the hardware version and to see all the extra stuff (like the Kaoss pads) was a revelation. Admittedly, it won't recreate a complete acoustic version of Beethoven's 9th but given the musical genres where the MS20 has made such a sonic impact, anyone spending the piddly amount they are asking for now has a bargain.

Having said that, my mother who also has an ipad still hasn't recovered from buying iELECTRIBE!

The problem with this lovely looking app is that most songs coming out of it will sound very similar, and quite boring, sadly.

Compared to something like the iPhones nanosynth app running expanded on an iPad, it's pretty limited in reality, and it's phenomenally fiddly to actually do anything with. Disappointing,, but interesting.
