Kodak's Zx1 720p pocket camcorder has quietly gone on sale at the company's own store, priced at $149.95, as well as through a private retailer on Amazon.  Announced at CES back in January, the Zx1 has 128MB of internal memory together with an SD/SDHC card slot, and is capable of up to 60fps 16:9 720p video or 3-megapixel interpolated stills.

There's also a 2x digital zoom, mono sound recording and fixed focus; the Zx1 drops the macro function that Kodak's Zi6 offered, but throws in semi-ruggedization.  Connectivity is USB 2.0 and HDMI, and there's a standard tripod mounting screw on the base.

The Kodak Zx1 is currently available at the Kodak store in blue, pink, red and black; yellow is out of stock.  It's priced at $149.95.  Meanwhile Amazon are selling the Zx1 – complete with an accessory kit – for $189.95.
