Kodak releases EasyShare Touch M5370 digital camera

Kodak has just announced its latest EasyShare digital camera called the EasyShare Touch M5370. It has much of the same specs as the original EasyShare Touch with plenty of ways to tag and share photos via social networks, but now sports a 16-megapixel sensor capable of capturing 720p HD video.

Like the original, the new EasyShare Touch M5370 features a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen LCD and 5X wide-angle Schneider-Kreuznach optics. It also offers special shooting modes such as Kodak Film effects, photobooth, and more than 20 scene modes. The large touchscreen lets you easily tap the screen to add effects like background blur or spot color.

A face recognition and tagging feature recognizes up to five faces at a time and lets you add names to the pictures. There's a one-touch share button that marks the photo for sharing by email or through social networks such as Facebook, Flickr, and Twitter. The photos are shared automatically when the camera docks.

The Kodak EasyShare Touch M5370 comes in four colors, including silver, blue, pink, and red. It should be available later this fall and is priced at $179.95.
