Worth Reading?

NoYes

I decided a while back that really have no need for a fancy DVD player, if my old one breaks I’ll probably just buy the cheapest one I can find. However, after seeing the KiSS 1600, I’m starting to hope mine breaks down soon so I have an excuse to upgrade.

KiSS 1600

What would be so special about a DVD player that would compel me to purchase it? How about the ability to stream media from any PC in your house wirelessly? Just install a simple app on the PCs in your house that will stream the content and you’re ready to go. You can also attach an external drive via USB if you’d like. It’s compatible with many media formats including MPEG-4, XviD, DivX, and Windows Media.

The KiSS 1600 will also upscale your DVDs and output them on either HDMI or component. It’s also got the older Scart hookups for those without HDTVs. The only thing holding me back is the $400 price tag.
