Kingston announced their latest solid-state drive today with the SSDNow V+ line, which feature 2.5-inch drives and a greatly improved controller that offers up a 220Mb/s read speed and a 180MB/s write speed.
These new drives offer up a maximum of 256GB of storage. However, there are 64GB and 128GB models available as well with these improved speeds. They all can connect using SATA or SATA II interfaces as well.
You can get the 64GB model right this second for $254 and the 128GB and 256GB versions at a later date for about $500 and $992, respectively.
