Kingdom Hearts 3 gameplay trailer live for PS4 and Xbox One

The official console-level Kingdom Hearts 3 has been revealed – for real this time. Earlier today at Square Enix's press conference for E3 2015, the group suggested a new Kingdom Hearts would be coming – to the mobile platform. For Android and iOS. It was a bit of a disappointment. But then – at the end of their conference – they revealed the big news. Kingdom Hearts 3 was revealed for real. This is the game as it'll appear on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year. This is Disney to the max.

The fact that this trailer doesn't show one massive amount of Disney characters from the start suggests there's far more to come. The company says that this game is currently "in development," which means a LOT could still be changing.

This trailer has not been released in any format higher than 720p as of yet. While this might indicate that the game will only be 720p, we're going to go ahead and guess that this just means the time was short and the release window was shorter.

Expect far better graphics when the game is further into development.

Also expect a lot more to happen in the Disney library before this game is released. Since the last Kingdom Hearts release, Disney has picked up both Marvel Comics and Lucasfilm.

That means Star Wars and Marvel Comics characters of all sorts, all viable for this release.
