Considering Joy Ride was originally announced to be a freemium title, I wonder if this Joy Ride sequel is going to be just that. It would make business sense with a lot of the development and stuff being out of the way and a good way for Microsoft to test that system a little more.

I don’t know how anyone even thought a Kinect racing game would be fun–even if it worked. There are certain types of games that the control transfers intuitively over to motion controls, others simply don’t. I think I’d feel pretty silly trying to race in a game standing there like the guy in the photo.

Well, if I were in a racing game I’d want steering wheel and pedals with some feedback. Jumping around “air” driving is probably good for playing with kids though.
