Kinect beta leaks aplenty (despite Microsoft's stern warnings)

Kinect all round this morning, as Microsoft's Beta Program for the motion gaming peripheral delivers Dashboard updates into the living rooms of those involved.  Microsoft may have warned participants not to talk to media, press, or even those pesky bloggers, but that doesn't seem to have stopped Joystiq and Kotaku each receiving plenty of leaked information.

Joystiq have the motherlode of screenshots, including the new, slimmed-down avatars, updated customization tools and a list of games that testers will have access to, including Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports and Kinect Joy Ride.  Meanwhile, Kotaku's tipster has sent them video of the new boot-up sequence.  Sources for both sites, somewhat ironically, included copies of the Microsoft T&Cs which clearly say "don't tell anybody about your access."

The actual Kinect hardware is going to follow on separately, with Microsoft saying it's still "being packed", so for now there's no feedback on how the system actually works with gameplay.  Still, maybe Microsoft will be so disappointed at the leaky gamers they'll decide to take their ball home and not bother sending it out at all.
