IT COULD BE A SYSTEM GLITCH that the product pages no longer say that web-browsing is not enabled for those countries.

Amazon has NOT confirmed this. For one thing, they’re not open yet :-)

Again, it may be a system glitch, but others have reported web access and access to free books which used to be shown as about $2 U.S.
