Kenko C-mount camera system and lenses break cover

Kenko is a Japanese company that makes all sorts of gear and among that gear is a line of cameras and lenses. The company is showing off a new interchangeable lens camera that is a compact lens system that uses the C-mount standard.

Apparently, that mount standard isn't common on digital cameras, it was designed for movie cameras originally. The C-mount is a 1-inch diameter and the mock ups the firm has in their display show 14 lenses that will be coming.

I wonder if that giant telescope thing on the far right is a lens for the camera too. I think that gives you x-ray vision. There is no word on availability and pricing outside of Japan on the new lenses or camera. Inside Japan, the cam and lenses will hit this summer for about 30,000 yen.
