JOBS movie trailer goes live

We're just two months away from the theatrical release of JOBS, the Steve Jobs biopic starring Ashton Kutcher as the Apple man himself. After being screened earlier this year to a limited audience, the movie is getting its first trailer released unto the public, and it gives us a glimpse as to what to expect come August 16.

The trailer gives us an overview of Steve Jobs' early years leading up to his forced departure from the company he co-founded, as well as his return in the 90s. We see things such as the investment deals Jobs and Wozniak made in their early years, as well as heated competition from IBM.

The movie stars Ashton Kutcher and Josh Gad as Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, respectively. Other stars include JK Simmons and Dermot Mulroney, the former of which is best known for playing The Daily Bugle's big wig in the Spider-Man movie series. Many people know Kutcher from That 70s Show, Punk'd, and a handful of popular movies. Josh Gad currently stars in the NBC comedy 1600 Penn, which he also serves as an executive producer for.

The film originally had a release date of April. However, the film was eventually delayed with no rescheduled date disclosed at that point. However, the production company eventually settled on August 16 as the theatrical release date. The movie was initially shown at the Sundance Film Festival back in January.

We've already seen a short clip from the movie that shows Jobs and Wozniak in a heated debate about the Apple operating system gaining traction in the mainstream. Steve Wozniak himself said that the scene is highly inaccurate, but as with most movie (even ones based on real events), the truth is always bent just slightly.
