Jeep has rolled out a pair of new special edition models at the LA Auto Show aimed at completely different types of enthusiasts. One of the vehicles is aimed at the driver who wants street performance and it is the Grand Cherokee SRT Night. It has a stealthy appearance with black roof and lightweight performance wheels.

The rear spoiler is also black along with the front grille bezels, B and C pillars, and side window surrounds. The Night version of the car is offered in velvet red, billet silver, and granite crystal colors and uses the 6.4L 475hp V8 able to push the big SUV to 60mph in 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 160mph.

The other special edition is the Wrangler Backcountry. This Wrangler is hopped up for winter capability and is based on the Sahara model. It has a Backcountry decal on the front fender, off-road front and rear bumpers in powder coat, 17-inch Rubicon wheels and Rubicon rock rails.

Buyers can opt for the Sahara side steps at no additional charge. The Backcountry is available in hydro blue, black, bright white, granite crystal, and xtreme purple and is the only model in the Wrangler line offered in xtreme purple. Pricing for the special editions is unannounced at this time.
