Jaybird Freedom wireless earbuds have customizable sound

Jaybird has unveiled two new sets of wireless premium earbuds at CES 2016 called the Freedom and X3. Both of the earbuds offer customizable sound profiles that can be moved with the user from device to device. That means you don't have to reset your sound preferences if you want to use the earbuds on multiple devices.

The Jaybird Freedom use a tapered step-down design that gives a comfortable fit in ears of any size. Freedom earbuds are made of metal, are sweat-proof, and use Comply memory foam ear tips. Those foam eartips help block external sounds.

The app for adjusting the sound is the Jaybird MySound app and is available for Android and iOS users. Power comes from an internal battery good for four hours of use and a charging clip is included to expand that to eight hours total. Freedom earbuds will ship in Q2 2016 for $199.99.

The Jaybird X3 are sport earbuds that use Bluetooth 4.0 and are the follow up to the Jaybird X3 earbuds. They are sweat-proof and use the x-fit system to enhance comfort and keep them in place and they are good for seven hours of use per charge. X3 earbuds will launch in Q3 2016 or $149.95. Both sets of earbuds will be offered in multiple colors.
