Have you lost the earloop yet. Be prepared to not find another one that actually fits. The piece itself is great all around until you lose the earloop. I have boutght at least six from various places and none of them stay on. They are very lose and 130.00 is a lot to pay when you can't find something as simple as a replacement earloop. I have had to resort to putting the loop on my ear first then the jawbone just to get a little use out of it and because the earloop is so loose I end up having to just take it out after a few minutes so of course running with it is out the question.

I purchased this bluetooth device 4 days ago, and am very happy with it. The sound quality is amazing. It is just as clear as talking directly on my cellphone. With all the different sizes of earbuds, it was easy to find a comfortable fit.

I was concerned about the device falling out of my ear, so I tried it first with the earhook, which turned out to be painful. Its placement doesn't work with the shape of my ear. Also, the ear hook, although flexible, appears to be a bit fragile at the end that connects to the device, and you can't reshape it to fit properly on your ear. It's pretty much a one-shape-fits-all. However, with the correct earbud, it stays put just fine.

When driving, it really cuts out the background noise. I've asked the people I've spoken with while driving, and they unanimously said the audio was clear, and they couldn't tell I was in my car.

I charged it fully the day I got it, and I'm still on the initial charge with about 4 hours of talk time remaining. What's nice is that I can push the button to hear how much time I have left.

I'm still trying to find the right tap-tap interval for answering and hanging up on calls, although I must say it's much more convenient than grabbing my phone to answer, or trying to locate the button. If you're used to clicking a button on your earphone to answer, you'll quickly discover that sends the caller to voicemail, which is actually a nice feature.

I haven't fully tested the range, but have been able to answer from the next room, with no loss of quality.

BTW: The box in the video is very different from the one my ERA was packaged in.

Agreed with other comments: Show the darn thing on your ear and show how it works. Let's watch the how it works as you walk away from the iPhone to judge its distance capabilities.

You blew it with the unboxing, as Jawbone designed it so that you would stand the box up properly (brown part on bottom), and then pull the top part of the box straight up so that the inner side flaps would drop down simultaneously, ultimately revealing the new Jawbone Era. The box designer must have fallen off his chair if he watched this.

I appreciate your thoroughness, as other said, we can all read the specs. We want to know how it works and looks in actual use. THAT's a "review"
