Just bought the stone headset & what I can say is....unbelievable! It sits perfectly on the ear and I forgot I am actually wearing a headset. It's sooo lightweight. Sound clarity was excellent and is nicely channeled into my ear. Now, different ppl have different ear canals and headsets are a personal thing. This headset is gr8 for me but may not be for another person. So, if you have a chance to try before you buy, do it! The "only for right ear" doesn't really bother me coz if Jabra were to make it swappable, it would not be this nice cool minimalist design. Good one, Jabra!

How exactly am I supposed to get this thing to not fall off my ear? I love my Halo but Jabra dropped the ball on this one. I have not even tried to talk on it yet, I might just sell it on ebay.

I totally agree with your evaluation of the Stone - it hurts to wear for any length of time and limited to the right ear only. I am not happy with my purchase either...love Jabra products, but this one is really not designed well.

I've never read a review that I totally disagreed with until now. I don't know if the person writing the review actually used this device or not, but I can only assume that they did not or the review would have been quite different.
1. Comfort - the Stone has an ear clip. It is not adjustable and does not wrap around the ear. Imagine if you can a coat hanger hanging on your ear. Now instead of a coat hanger call it a Jabra Stone. Now you have the comfort level. In addition to the clip the only other thing that connects the Stone to your body is the ear gel. The problem is the "ear gel" is simply a rubber "O" ring that circles the speaker and provides no ability to channel the sound into the ear. So essentially you have a clip hanging off your ear and nothing to guide the sound into the ear.
2. Volume - because the Stone doesn't have any directional ear gels you have to have a ear canal that EXACTLY fits the design of the Stone. If you don't have that particular ear canal then you are left with a small speaker sitting just infuriatingly outside the ear canal and no matter how high you turn up the volume you can barely make out anything. What's even worse is that Jabra markets this device as a bluetooth stereo ear piece. The only way you can hear anything with this ear piece is to push it into the ear canal. However the downside to doing that is that because of the location of the control surfaces, you disconnect the call.
3 . Perhaps the most disturbing part of all is that Jabra knows how to make a good bluetooth earpiece. I have both the BT-250v and the BT-500v and both are exceptional. Of course like all things they wear out, so I naturally assumed (bad mistake) that Jabra's new over the ear bluetooth device would be as good if not better. That it would be as comfortable is not more so. All those assumptions proved totally bogus. I am now the proud owner of a device that is both uncomfortable and non-funtional and all for the meager cost of a little over $100.00 dollars. I wish now I had purchased two of their previous earpieces before they stopped production instead of wasting my funds on a useless device.
