Expect a major hullabaloo to hit about a month after itunes match launches when some people get their bills and find a data overage fee when they never had one before. 256kbps comes to 112.5MB for every hour of streaming. On a standard 2GB capped data plan many music lovers are going to get a unpleasant surprise.

I’ve been really digging iTunes Match (I have dev access), so the public launch can’t come soon enough. It’s great how easy the whole process is… but there are a few problems with its implementation (like having to choose between a “cloud” device library or a local one).
