If you happen to accidentally void the warranty on your iPod, why not go ahead and do some funky mod and make sure that warranty is really void?

That’s exactly what Owen McGarry decided to do with his. He decided to put a hinge on it so that it can flip up and allow him to watch videos easily while it is sitting on a table.

It’s a pretty cool mod, I’m not sure that I would go out of my way to destroy an iPod like that, but if it’s already broken, why not?
